We are glad to see your interest in us and our products. For over 100 years we have been supplying our
customers worldwide with our raw materials suitable for their individual needs.
Under the sign of the elephant Mr. Richard Anton founded a trading company in 1904 specializing in the importation of
natural graphites from Ceylon and Madagascar. Continual expansion and development in the areas of products and quality
turned Richard Anton KG into one of the world’s leading suppliers of graphites, specialty cokes and recarburizers.
In 1972 we started to import pig iron in ingots. But that was not enough: additional business sectors were added when we
founded Aluwerk Hettstedt GmbH, then took over and
integrated RMG Metallfachhandel GmbH. Thus the Richard
Anton group of companies – which continues to be family-owned – is in a position to supply high-quality raw materials
in the areas of graphites, recarburizers and pig iron as well as aluminium billets, bars, pipes and plates – all from
one source and ISO certified!
